Branches, roots, bones and microorganisms fill Marcy's imagination, resulting in flower top vessels, leafy top teapots and abstract organic life-forms.
To quote the artist, "I want to create surfaces that have life to them and appear to be growing and aging. In my artwork I search for a balance between man and nature, and science and nature, transforming the clay into cultivated sculptures about life. Marcy was the past director of Prima Gallery.
