Tools
Bring your own
tools. After registering a packet will
be sent to you with detailed information and list of tools needed.
The Compleat
Sculptor, from NYC, will be on site with a full selection of chisels,
hammers,
and power tools. Pneumatic carbide
tools can be purchased from Bybee Stone Tools.
The Indiana
Limestone Sculpture Symposium is held in Ellettsville, Indiana at the
Bybee
Stone Company, approximately five miles west of Bloomington.
Slide shows will be held at the John Waldron
Arts Center, a renovated limestone structure in downtown Bloomington.

Corporation Headquarters and the Kotaki-ji Temple in Japan.
Janey Westin
Calligrapher and
letter cutter since 1980; her sculptures can be found in religious and
secular
buildings throughout the US such as St. Olaf College, Our Lady of
Guadelupe
Cathedral, and the Target Corporation Headquarters; awards include the
“Booth
Award” for four years from the Minnesota Architects Convention and the
1991
“Artists Award” at the American Craft Council Expo.
